There are many benefits associated with your membership of the Pennsylvania AFSCME Retiree Chapter 13. Aside from your power to lobby for your retirement rights, the Pennsylvania AFSCME Retiree Chapter 13 also has several additional benefits provided to members. 

  • Dental and Vision Plans – Affordable Dental and Vision Coverage through Delta Dental and Davis Vision, including access to a hearing aid package.  
    • Your dental insurance through Delta Dental is only available to Chapter 13 Retiree members. You can pay online via bank draft or credit card, same way you did your dental insurance, or you can mail in a check for $24/year. Please note: $24/year does not count towards your Delta Dental Insurance. That is a separate cost and must be paid separately. Please see below. 
       
    • Your Delta Dental Insurance is active January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025 and is paid yearly. Please note that the open enrollment period for Delta Dental is October 1st through December 1st. This plan goes into effect on January 1, 2025. If you have any questions about Delta Dental Insurance, please call their Customer Service line at 1-800-932-0783 and give the representative the Group Number 21468 or visit www.deltadentalins.com.
       
    • You can pay online via bank draft or credit card, same way you did your dental insurance, or you can mail in a check for $24/year. 
       
    • Your Davis Vision Insurance is active January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025 and is paid yearly. Please note that the open enrollment period for Davis Vision is October 1st through December 1st. This plan goes into effect on January 1, 2025. If you have any questions about your Davis Vision Insurance, please call their Customer Service line at 1-800-923-2847 and give the representative the Group Number 5206 or visit www.davisvision.com."

  • Annual Membership Convention – Yearly meeting of Pennsylvania AFSCME Retiree Chapter 13 members from across the Commonwealth at the convention. 

  • Scholarship Opportunities – Chances for members, children, and grandchildren to apply for AFSCME Council 13 Scholarships which may be applied toward educational expenses, such as tuition, lodging and books. 

  • Members-Only Benefits – Access, through the AFSCME Advantage Program, to discounts on everything from travel to cell phone service. Additional information can be found at www.afscme.org/advantage. 

  • Retiree Issue Updates – Members receive regular updates on benefits, advocacy, political action, and more from Pennsylvania AFSCME Retiree Chapter 13 via email, text and social media.
